We have ordered flu jabs for our eligible patients, so please do kindly book in if you meet the criteria (see adjacent). You can book a flu jab appointment directly online via the NHS app or Patient access online, OR via reception.

There will be dedicated flu clinics at our Burnt Oak and Stanmore surgeries (please bear with us as we rely on national supply, and do look out for updates/alerts on our website re: extra clinics)


Eligibility Criteria for NHS flu vaccine at the GP surgery include:

-All patients aged over 50 (please note, in line with national guidance, patients over 50 with no underlying qualifying long term health condition will only be eligible from end of November once the higher risk groups have been vaccinated)

-All patients over the age of six months who have an eligible long term health condition (e.g Diabetes, chronic heart/lung/kidney/liver/ neurological disease, obesity etc)

-Children aged 2 &3 years old

(appointment bookings available every day Mon-Fri)

-All pregnant women, carers, health and social care staff

-Household members of those who have been on the shielded patient list


BURNTOAK FLU CLINICS

Saturday, 28th November - clinic for over 65s, 2 & 3 years old and under 65s at risk (carers and those living with patients that are shielding included) please call the surgery to book

Saturday, 5th December - clinic for anyone over 50 years old, 2 & 3 years old and under 50s with eligible medical conditions. Please call the surgery to book


STANMORE FLU CLINICS

Sunday, 6th Dec - clinic for anyone over 50 years old and 2 & 3 years old under 50s with eligible medical conditions. Please call the surgery to book

IN ADDITION, there will be some weekday slots as well as additional weekends clinics available throughout the Autumn and Winter months for those that could not make the above dates

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE DO:

- Wear suitable clothes to easily expose your shoulder. Avoid bringing physical items/shopping bags with you -Follow the one way system in place, wear a face mask and follow strict social distancing to ensure we maintain a Covid safe environment -Arrive close to your appointment time to help maintain your safety as above
